  1. I found a sample business plan you may be able to use as a template http://www.fapc.okstate.edu/pages/sample... , you can also visit http://www.bplans.com/ and http://businessownersideacafe.com/starti... or http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/hb... for a forum of like minded small business owners.

    Best of luck,

  2. Traveling anything these days is dangerous (so easy to be held up). And you would have to have your business near big businesses or office buildings that are full to assure yourself decent income. And, of course, you'd need to serve certain foods and buy them cheaply (if you're thinking of burgers usually the owner would buy second day items and these days ecoli is a scare), and because you are in food your insurance may be high. As suggested in another "yahoo answer" I would suggest that you find a hole-in-the wall (tiny place like 3 rooms near a bathroom) that is commercial property and do take-out and specialty sandwiches and salad. Or take over an ice cream stand or an ice cream truck, or a photo stand in a mall parking lot. Gas will be more expensive as time goes on, and insurance as well. Depends on the state you are from too as some mom and pop businesses are going under as costs of everything these days are too high. Do you have a mechanic in your family who will fix your truck if you can't get it going? You are having expert advice.
