1. Its more than just your business plan. People think that if they have a business plan that the banks will be crawling to provide them capital. Truly, capital is what you need. And banks don't just hand out money. I can let you know what options you have. Email tribunal1312@yahoo.com
2. Most banks will give you a Business Start up which includes details of how to create a business plan, some (I think Nat West) will give a DVD with structure. You can also get loads of advice in setting up a business, including making a Business Plan from your local Chamber of Commerce. It is free of charge and you will find experienced and helpful advisers.
3. There are plenty of templates for business plans on line.
   
   You can get help for free from the SBA (Small Business Administration) and SCORE. You can look them up in your local yellow pages.

   Business Planning is not my main business, but over the years I have certainly been involved in business planning for all sorts of organisations, and at various times my clients in both government and industry have asked for guidance for their staff. Gradually I evolved a set of notes. This led to more and more requests for copies which, while very gratifying, were becoming something of a burden. So I produced this little A5 booklet, free to all-comers. Even then, posting paper copies around the world became quite difficult, so I have now made a PDF version available here: "Bob's Brief Guide to Business Planning" (75KB). It is not quite as cute as my little booklet, but I hope I can help more people this way.
7. I am not sure where abouts you are from but in my town there is a group called business link, if you can do a yellow pages search for business link in durham then give them a ring I am sure they will be able to help you. there may be something similar where you live.
