- Business Plans are super stressful. Specially if they are due the next day and you had 6 months to work on it and you have not even started. Your teacher is right about the already made ones and I do not recommend that you cheat. I however advise you to look at one that is already made in the business of choice so you can get an idea of what a business plan looks like. Keep in mind that a business plan can be anywhere from 3 pages to a more complicated one of over 100 pages. Make it as long as you want it to be. Keep that in mind.
Im going to give you a link to SCORES business plan template. Its for a start up business and its in Microsoft word. I'm also assuming that you understand everything that has to do with a business.

- Business plans can be very detailed, has the teacher given you an basic outline of what he/she wants.
You can calculate the funding using a basic Small Business Administration Loan of about 8%, unless you can find investors which requires no immediate payments.
Investors are paid a portion of the profit if any.
Here is a very short version of a Business Plan.
1. Cost of lease or purchase of building and fixtures,
2. Cost of inventory.
3. What will be your cost of utilities, salaries, liabitiy insurance and etc
4. Cost of marketing.
5.. Targeted Market--example local within .........miles.
6. How will you deal with competition.
7. What is your break-even point, in other words how much do you have to sell to make a profit.. .
8. What will make you unique from competition.
9. How will you pay monthly bills? Often it takes time for a business to enough customers to even met the bills. Almost all business have peak sales period and low period sales.
Hope this helps.
